Principal’s Message:

Hello, World’s Greatest Students, Staff and Families, 

My name is Dr. Jacob Jung, and I’m honored and humbled to be the Principal of Alvarado Intermediate School. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where all members strive to build positive relationships to support our student’s academic, personal, and socio-emotional growth. 

Here at Alvarado Intermediate School, we are guided by a deep commitment to fostering an environment where your child can flourish academically, emotionally, and socially. We share a common belief system and vision of HONOR; we believe that all students are gifted and talented, all students have futures, everyone needs a teacher, and every day is an opportunity to be the greatest version of themselves. We expect educational excellence from every Matador as they follow the characteristics of HONOR. H - Honesty, O - Ownership, N- Never Give up, O - Open-hearted, R - Respect. 

Our goal is to work together to provide students with the best learning environment and experience. Alvarado will always be a place of service excellence and will welcome you with open arms. I am excited about the journey ahead for all of us; together, we will continue to provide a safe learning environment, building on the strong foundation of excellence and compassion that this school is known for.
